Belfast | 12 February 2026
The North West 200 organisation will host a BBC live media event in Belfast on 12 February, bringing together leading figures from international road racing. European Series Road Racing (ESR) is honoured to be part of this stage, where we will present the past, present, and future of our series to a global audience.
Road racing is one of motorsport’s most distinctive disciplines: raw, traditional, and uniquely close to the public . To remain sustainable, it requires a modern, structured organisation. ESR was created to ensure that top-level road racing — particularly the Superbike class — remains visible, viable, and attractive for teams, sponsors, and fans.
The ESR is more than a collection of one-off appearances. It is a six-round championship on Europe’s most iconic road circuits. By providing continuity, we enable teams to build competitive machines and sponsors to invest with confidence.
The 2026 ESR Calendar:
The collaboration between ESR and the North West 200 is central to our vision. For British and Irish riders, the NW200 is a world-famous stage that now serves as a gateway to a structured European season. For continental riders, this partnership opens a realistic route to experience the intensity and culture of Irish road racing . Together, we are raising standards on both sides.
ESR has proven its commitment by stepping in when the sport needs it most. When the Supersport round at Imatra faced cancellation, we acted swiftly to ensure racing continued, protecting opportunities for riders and fans at one of Europe’s most historic venues.
We will be officially present in Northern Ireland from 6 to 9 May during the North West 200 race week. We invite fans, media, and partners to engage with our series and share in our long-term vision for sustainable, high-level road racing.
