Join the 2026 ESR Championship

Take it to the next level. The European Series Road Racing (ESR) is an independent SBK championship designed for riders who live for precision, speed, and clean competition on production-based superbikes.

The 2026 Season at a Glance

The championship is contested over six high-octane events across the Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Finland, and the Czech Republic.

  • Elite Competition: Only the top 15 permanent riders score championship points.
  • Serious Rewards: Prize money for the top 20 finishers, with €3500 for a championship win.
  • Professional Support: Access to dedicated rider service support for tires and technical help.

Entry requirements for Season Riders

To secure your spot for the full 2026 season, you must:

  • Hold a valid 2026 competition license issued by FMB-BMB, ACCR or SML.
  • Be born after 01 January 1961.
  • Pay the full season fee of 2200 euro.
  • Full refunds are available until 31 March 2026; after this date, no refunds are possible.

Your entry is only final once you receive written confirmation from ESR management.

If 2026 is your first season in road racing, we require proof of your experience to ensure safety and competitive standards. Send your official race results from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 seasons to info@esroadracing.com for review.

All other requirements for Season Riders

License

You must hold a valid 2026 competition license issued by one of these federations:

  • FMB-BMB, Belgium
  • ACCR, Czech Republic
  • SML, Finland

Licenses from other federations are accepted only if they explicitly allow participation in the ESR SBK category.

Motorcycle

Allowed bikes

Superbike class only, including BMW M(S)1000RR, Yamaha R1(M), Kawasaki ZX10R(R), Honda CBR1000RR, Ducati Panigale V4(S/R), Suzuki GSXR1000, Aprilia RSV4 and similar models.

Mandatory requirements

  • Explosafe inside the fuel tank
  • Rain light powered by the bike battery
  • Chain protector
  • Water only in radiator
  • Oil filter must be OEM, not aftermarket
  • External oil-related bolts and parts must be safety wired
  • Cameras allowed, no helmet cameras
  • Mobile phones on the bike are not allowed

Spare bike

A spare bike is allowed but not permitted in pitlane.

No restrictions on

Engine, ECU, power/RPM, brakes, suspension, swingarm, subframe, exhaust, wheels, fairings and most electronic components within the general rules.

Rider equipment

Protective gear

  • One-piece leather suit
  • Airbag system mandatory
  • Helmet with ECE22-06 or JIS (Arai) certification
  • Leather gloves

At technical control

Your bike and full gear must be presented and approved before the event starts.
