ESR Brings Supersport Racing to Imatra

The ESR is stepping up. Following the recent cancellation of the IRRC Supersport round in Finland, our team has worked around the clock to ensure the 600cc class remains on the grid at the legendary Jarno Saarinen circuit. We are proud to announce that the ESR will officially host the Supersport category during this summer’s Imatranajo.

Saving Supersport at Immatra

When the news broke that the Supersport championship round was cancelled, we didn’t hesitate. In just seven days, the ESR reached an agreement with the Imatranajo organisers to keep the Supersport class on the programme. We believe this historic circuit deserves a full field, and we are here to provide it.

A milestone event

The Imatranajo is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. It is one of the most respected road racing events in Europe, and the ESR is honoured to be part of this milestone. By adding the Supersport class alongside our confirmed Superbike Championship race, we are giving fans, riders, and teams the double-header they deserve.

This move reinforces the ESR’s mission: providing strong, competitive championships on the world’s most iconic road circuits. We are here to support the riders and ensure that the spirit of road racing stays alive in Finland during this special anniversary year.
